    After learning about the harmful effects from the ingredients in most store bought candles in Australia that are produced overseas, Stephane and Jim made it their intention and commitment to create WIA Candles. They have developed a range of high grade, affordable, allergy-free, soy wax candles that are 100% made in Australia.

    As a new start up, Stephane and Jim saw an opportunity to develop a true Australian candle brand that they intend to export into South East Asia and around the globe.

    They received their Made In Australia Licence in 2016 by committing to resourcing all of their business supplies within Australia in order to support small to medium businesses within the country.

    All of their handmade candles are non toxic, vegan and GMO free, they are also lead free and environmentally friendly.

    With careful research, planning and strategic testing, we eventually created a non-toxic, chemical-free and hypoallergenic soy wax candle with no artificial dyes or other harmful ingredients. All candles are 100% handmade in Australia with Australian ingredients. Our candles were first introduced at Fair Day in Sydney in early 2014 with great success.

    In order to grow and establish our brand, we were looking to meet someone who could help to take us to the next level. As fate would have it, we met Claudia Chabo, who was selling her photography right next to our stand at Fair Day. In getting to know Claudia, we soon found out that she was not only a photographer but a creative designer, branding manager, artist and entrepreneur, who had also gone through her own journey of self-discovery. She immediately respected and valued our intention and The mission behind our Love & Light lifestyle brand. The three of us officially joined forces in 2015 to create the WIA Candle brand with the mission to spread love and light one candle at a time from our homeland of Australia.

    When first developing our WIA Candles, our niche market was to sell and export to China, Japan and other countries to help share the beautiful, natural pure energy of Australia that we felt could really benefit in spreading our message of love and light globally.
