DONATE TO SUPPORT VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

The Sanctuary Women Children and Pet’s Refuge is delighted to be celebrating their fifth birthday in 2021. We are immensely proud of all that has been accomplished in such a short amount of time. All of which was only been made possible with the support of local organisations and individuals in our community. The domestic violence refuge has successfully assisted women, children, and their pets to return to the community with safe housing, educational support and renewed confidence, as well as equipping them with strategies for healing and recovery.

In these challenging times, The Sanctuary Refuge has found funding support to be harder than ever to achieve. Although we are a not-for-profit charity with DGR status, unfortunately, we have no source of regular funding. With no Government Funding, we are a privately funded domestic violence refuge filling a significant gap in welfare services in southern Queensland, we are dedicated to saving the lives of women, children and their pets fleeing the most traumatic of circumstances. No regular source of funding means we rely on the support of kind individuals, small business and corporate generosity.

The Sanctuary Refuge welcomes donations of Qoin to facilitate day-to-day operations, and is using Qoin for everyday items such as pet foods and products, personal care items, groceries, trades, children’s toys and educational material, and many other items that enable us to restore the dignity of these women, children and their pets.
