SUPPORT MEN AND FAMILIES

The Pride Of Bettermen Inc is based on the Gold Coast,
1. We help men to become Better Men, to become better Fathers, Husbands, Sons, Brothers and Leaders;
2. We contribute to our community, to strengthen our community; and
3. We provide a Brotherhood to support ourselves and other men.

We are a charity whose purpose is to advance social or public welfare by providing mentoring and support to men in our community to develop men and their families physically, emotionally and mentally.

In most cultures, Men traditionally must undertake a rite of passage to earn their manhood. This rite of passage often involves physical, emotional and spiritual challenges that truly test the boy and his right to earn the title of Man. In modern culture, these rites of passage have been eroded, and young men never get the opportunity to test themselves, to challenge their physical barriers and mental resilience, to learn manhood from a community of men, as a result, we have a community that suffers from a lack of manhood.

The Pride Of Bettermen Inc develops men physically, emotionally and mentally. We build mental resilience and confidence in men by mentoring them to understand their role as men in our community. An integral part of being a Betterman is making a contribution to community, and we further support charities such as The Sanctuary Women, Children and Pets Refuge and PTSD Resurrected.

We know from demonstrated results that with intervention and strong mentoring, we can interrupt the behavioural cycle of men at risk and influence their behaviour and mindset, this is demonstrated to reduce the risk of them instigating physical and emotional abuse, drug and alcohol abuse, gambling and self harm.

In our community of men, we do boxing training together, physical challenge to break down barriers, Group hikes, dinner events.

The Pride Of Bettermen Inc undertakes fundraising to provide assistance to men, and to support other worthwhile needs in the community that will benefit men and families such as homelessness, PTSD Resurrected and dealing with water shortages in western regions.
