ATIMA are a modern martial art based on a foundation of elite Tae Kwon Do (TKD) - head QLD instructor is a former World Full Contact AND Point Fighting Champion. ATIMA incorporates into its curriculum some of the best practice from other forms including short strike from Muay Thai, basic ground and immobilising techniques from BJJ, and stand up striking from boxing and kickboxing. While traditional and technical elements of TKD are respected and practiced the students prime focus becomes learning how to defend themselves in the modern world.
Various classes are available at present from ages 3years plus on the Sunshine Coast at Coolum and Kawana - child/adult/family or competitor.
